The midnight hour is upon us – this year's Black Friday deals are officially here. Well, they've technically been with us for over a week, now but fresh deals are pouring in from all the top retailers and I'm on hand to help you sift the duds from the gold.

There are literally thousands of Black Friday deals to shop today, but I'll be focusing on the very best right here from retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. Why should you trust me? Well, I've got a half-decade of experience covering Black Friday and know the difference between a good deal and a bad one. I track the prices of products year-round, and won't try to pretend something is a good offer when it's not. 

I'll also be drawing on the wider TechRadar team's extensive knowledge of everything from TVs to phones, air fryers to laptops, AirPods to iPads and much more. We are The Technology Experts, after all.

Refrigerators: up to $1,300 off select refrigerators at Samsung
 The Samsung Black Friday sale doesn't just include great prices on phones and TVs, you'll also find great discounts on large appliances. Right now, for example, you'll be able to get upwards of $1,500 off a brand new refrigerator as well as free next day delivery.  Another headline deal for large appliances in the Samsung Black Friday sale, you'll find similar savings available for a wide number of range cookers.  Chromebooks are a great choice for the basics - especially when they're as cheap as this 14-inch HP x360. This particular model features an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD - not bad considering it's well under $300. Although not suitable for intensive applications, this Chromebook is a good option for simple browser-based tasks and school work thanks to its handy touchscreen and 2-in-1 design.View Deal

HP Pavilion laptop 15z: was $649 now $349.99 at HP
 Looking for a cheap Windows workhorse? For the price, it's hard to complain here - you get a nice modern-looking 15.6-inch machine with plenty of grunt for the basics.  This is the cheapest price we've ever seen for a Dell XPS 13 laptop, and it's one of the latest models. As you'd expect, this isn't the highest configuration since it's got a 12th gen Intel Core i5 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD, but this is a superb price for such a premium machine.
