Redmi Note 10 series: Release date, price, news and leaks
Redmi Note 10 series has been launched in India. The Redmi Note 10 series made its global debut in India on March 4, 2021. The Redmi Note lineup from Xiaomi has played an instrumental role in defining the budget smartphone segment of India. Single-handedly outselling many other brands, its importance can not be undermined.
Last year, the Redmi Note 9 Pro series also made its global debut in India in March 2020. Xiaomi has sold over 200 million Redmi Note series devices globally to date. In India, the Redmi Note series has dominated the sub Rs 15,000 and the sub Rs 20,000 segment.
Earlier leaks pointed towards 5G models in the Redmi Note 10 series. However, the Realme Note 10 series comes with three devices - the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the vanilla Redmi Note 10. These are the successor to the last year's three Redmi Note 9 series smartphones. All three phones are powered by 4G Snapdragon processors.
Now that we know the price, specs, and availability of the new Redmi Note 10 series, let's take a closer look at the three phones. The Redmi Note 10 starts at Rs 11,999 and the top of the line Redmi Note 10 Pro Max goes all the way up to Rs 21,999. All three phones are also thinner and lighter than the last-gen devices.

The Redmi Note 10 starts at Rs 11,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 13,999 for 6GB + 128GB. It is available in three colour options - Aqua Green, Shadow Black and Frost White.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro starts at Rs 15,999 for 6GB + 64GB, Rs 16,999 for 6+128GB and Rs 18,999 for 8GB + 128GB. The top of the line Redmi Note 10 Pro Max price starts at Rs 18,999 for the 6+64GB variant, the 6+128GB variant is priced at Rs 19,999 and the 8+128GB is priced at Rs 21,999. Both phones are available in Vintage Bronze, Glacial Blue and Dark Night.
In the coming weeks, the company is also expected to launch a couple of flagship phones that will have a Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 870 processor. This might be the Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Lite.
Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max this time has come out will all guns blazing. You get a 120HZ Super AMOLED display, 108MP camera, Snapdragon 732G SoC, IP52 water-resistant, dual speakers, big battery and fast charging. On paper, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max looks to be the best phone under Rs 25,000 and tries to undercut the competition including its own Mi 10i.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits and HDR10+ certification as well. There's a tiny 2.96mm punch0hole notch that houses a selfie snapper. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
On the inside, the device is powered by Snapdragon 732G SoC and paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. In terms of optics, it comes with a primary 108MP camera (Samsung ISOCELL HM2), along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP 2x telephoto macro shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies are handled by a 16MP shooter.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is backed by a 5,020mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Other features include IP52 water-resistance, dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio certification, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with support for gestures and more.

Next up is the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which is an identical device to the Pro Max, but with a slightly different camera: it opts for the 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 image sensor instead. All the other specifications, features, dimensions and colours options remain the same.
Redmi Note 10 Pro starts at Rs 15,999 for 6GB + 64GB and Rs 18,999 for 8GB + 128GB. It will go on sale in March 17 on Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Studio stores

The most affordable phone in the series, the Redmi Note 10 is set to dominate the sub Rs 12,000 and sub Rs 15,000 segment. The Redmi Note 10 comes with a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which is the first for a phone under Rs 12,000. The refresh rate however drops to 60Hz. It has a peak brightness of 1,100 nits and 100% of DCI-P3 coverage while the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Snapdragon 678 processor makes its debut in India with this phone. It is an octa-core chipset with a max frequency of 2.2GHz and the Adreno 612 GPU. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
You get a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP (Sony IMX 582) primary camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 118-degree field of view, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The 13MP selfie camera is housed within a 3.54mm punch-hole.
The battery is rated at 5,000mAh and supports 33W fast charging over USB Type-C. It gets even lighter at 178 grams and 8.3mm thickness.
